On this beautiful, sunny day Tanya and I took a stroll through the city. Here are a few of the things we saw along the way. I will give a prize of a nice set of Russian nesting dolls ("matryshka") to the first person who leaves a comment and answers this question: What do each of the following photos have in common?
Big steeple of the Peter-Paul Cathedral
inside the Peter-Paul Fortress on the island
where St. Petersburg was founded in 1703.
Big steeple close up.
I try to include people in my photos
as often as possible.
Burial place of Czar Nicholas II (the last Russian
czar) and his family inside the Peter-Paul Cathedral

Well, to be painfully specific, I don't know what all the PHOTOS have in common...but all the descriptions begin with the letter "B". As in Bill and the title "Beautiful Day". Have you been moonlighting for Sesame Street. Is the "B" the letter of the day?! :) It was nice to talk to you last night and I hope you guys are having fun on the other side of the world. Can't be as Beautiful as Italy but you can make do! Loves, Sarah
